    Submissions for the 64th BFI London Film Festival in partnership with American Express® have now closed and we will not accept late submissions — please keep an eye on our social media for announcements regarding submissions in the spring of 2021.
  • Submission form: International Feature or Short films

    Please complete this form only if you are submitting an international feature film (over 40 minutes) or international short film (40 minutes or less). For UK shorts and features, please complete the relevant separate form at: www.bfi.org.uk/lff (Please note, different submission fees apply to UK features and shorts). UK films submitted using this form will not be considered for selection.
  • Deadline

    The final submission deadline for International shorts and features is 17 June 2020 at 17:00 BST. Please note earlier deadlines have reduced fees, as set out in the submissions regulations. The submission form and Online Link/DVD screener must be received (or be post-marked) by the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Submission Fee and Payment

    Submission fees for the 2020 BFI London Film Festival can be found at www.bfi.org.uk/LFF. At the end of this form you will be directed to a secure PayPal site to process your submission payment, so please have your credit card ready to complete the submission. Please note submissions will not be considered without completed payment. You should have received a unique submission code once payment has processed. Completion of this form and the submission fee do not guarantee selection to the official programme. We do not offer refunds for films that are not selected

    For all submissions, we require either a Secure Online Screener Link and Password or a DVD copy, sent by post on or before the submission deadline. DVD postal instructions will be emailed to you upon completion of this form. Unfortunately, we cannot accept digital files for download (e.g. files sent by email or dropbox links etc). Please note, it is your responsibility to inform us should the Online Viewing Password change.
