  • Welcome

    Camp of the Good Shepherd is a great place to host your next event. Several groups and individuals use our camp facilities throughout the year for their private and organization events. There are Lodge, Pool, Wedding, and Camp Experience packages available. We can sleep up to 100 attendees and 20 leaders. We can host 200 attendees during the day. Please click on one of the buttons below for more details and rates. 

    [Please note that events held at the CGS facilities must be for not-for-profit use. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the CGS campgrounds. Smoking is not permitted inside any building.]

    • THE CAMP EXPERIENCE RENTAL PACKAGE 
    • The Camp Experience  (Available April - October)
      **New Rates and Policies Effective January 2023 

      The camp is now available to rent for Day Camps with minimal staff spending the night.    

                     

      Included:

      • Chapel
      • Boys/Girls Dorms (Including staff rooms) 
      • Kitchen and Dining Room (Cook and Food is NOT provided)
      • Fire pit (firewood provided, please bring lighters and fire starting materials)
      • Playground
      • Ball fields
      • Sport Court 
      • Recreation Room

       

      NOT Included:

      • Little Cedar Lodge (May be added for $125 per 24 hour period)
      • Cook and Food (Each group must provide their own cook and food, our kitchen has basic equipment, specialty equipment may not be available.  Check with camp staff prior to stay to determine what we have available.)
      • Bedding (Limited sheets/towel sets may be rented from the camp for $10 per stay)
      • Pool (Available June - August 15, $100 for a 3-hour session between 11am and 5pm, arranged in advance with camp personnel)  Lifeguard is not required by the state and is not provided by the camp.  Each group is responsible to provide appropriate supervision.
      • Cleaning - Rental groups are responsible to clean up after themselves, the camp must be left ready for the next group.  

       

      RATES:  


      Small Groups (Under 65 guests)
      $600 for  24 - hour period (10am - 10am)

      Additional Time:
      Day Rate:  $400/ day (10am - 6 pm)
      Night Rate:  $200/ night (6 pm - 10am)

       
      Large Groups (Over 65 guests)
      $900 for  24 - hour period (10am - 10am)

      Additional Time:
      Day Rate:  $600/ day (10am - 6 pm)
      Night Rate  $300/night (6pm - 10am)

       
      Overnight STAFF ONLY in staff rooms (Less than 12 people)
      $100/ night (6pm -10am)
      Example:  If a group of about 50 people  would like the Camp  from 10 am on Saturday until 6 pm on Sunday, it would be 2 days and 1 night.  The total would be $1000, plus $250 refundable deposit)   

                      

      Policies:

      • $250 Refundable Deposit Due within 2 weeks of placing the reservation
      • Remaining balance must be paid by credit/debit card 30 days prior to arrival  
      • Full or partial deposit will be returned to the card that the payment was made with, depending on how much cleaning is required
      • Events held at the CGS facilities must be for not-for-profit use. 

       

      Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the CGS campgrounds. 

       Smoking is not permitted inside any building.

      Camp of the Good Shepherd desires to make camp accessible to everyone in order to reach people for Jesus.  We are making every effort to keep our rates low while still being able to operate and maintain the camp.  

       

    • RENT THE LITTLE CEDARS LODGE (LCL) 
    • Little Cedars Lodge (LCL) (Available Year-Round)

      **New Rates and Policies Effective January 2023 


      Included:

      • Lodge great room accommodates around 30 people, special arrangements can be made for lecture-type setting to accommodate up to 50 people. 
      • Kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and large table
      • Fireplace (firewood provided, please bring lighters and lighting materials)
      • Bathroom with Shower
      • Sleeping for 10 in two rooms

       

      NOT Included:

      • Cook and Food (Each group must provide their own cook and food, our kitchen has basic equipment, specialty equipment may not be available.  Check with camp staff prior to stay to determine what we have available.)
      • Bedding (Limited sheets/towel sets may be rented from the camp for $10 per stay)

      • Outdoor shelter with picnic tables
      • Outside carpetball game tables

      NOT Included:

      • Lifeguard

      • Recreation room 
      • Little Cedars Lodge or other rooms/buildings
      • Cleaning - Rental groups are responsible to clean up after themselves, the camp must be left ready for the next group.  

       

      3-HOUR POOL PARTY EVENT RATE - (Hours of use by arrangement with CGS Facilities Management)

      $200/3-hour pool use (Plus $50 refundable deposit)

      • Chapel - Seating for 200 (169 on main floor/32 in balcony) 
      • Tables may be set up for banquet/seated reception up to 100 people.
      • Boys/Girls Dorms with RestRooms- Staff (Private) rooms may be used to get ready and store clothing if needed. 
      • Kitchen and Dining Room (Cook and Food is NOT provided)
      • Fire pit (firewood provided, please bring lighters and fire starting materials)
      • Parking Lot - Group may need to provide parking attendants if more than 30 vehicles are expected.
      • Playground
      • Ball fields
      • Sport Court 


      NOT Included:

      • Little Cedar Lodge (May be added for $75/day, $50/night)
      • Cook and Food (Each group must provide their own cook and food, our kitchen has basic equipment, specialty equipment may not be available.  Check with camp staff prior to stay to determine what we have available.)
      • Bedding (Limited sheets/towel sets may be rented from the camp for $10 per stay)

  • Please Note:

    1) To lock in your reservation dates, we require a 20% non-refundable down payment of the total estimated costs of your event (made payable to Camp of the Good Shepherd). The remaining balance due (actual costs minus down payment) must be paid by cash, check or credit card on the final day of your event.

    2) A credit card number must be provided to hold for potential cleaning fees (up to $150) or other expenses or damages incurred by groups renting all or any areas of the CGS facilities. The credit card will not be charged if the group has incurred no additional charges (including cleaning fees).  [A CGS Facilities Management Representative will walk through the campgrounds with the contact person from the rental group prior to the group’s departure at the end of their reservation to confirm whether or not additional fees will be charged to the credit card for cleanup (up to $150) or other expenses/damages.]
