    Camp of the Good Shepherd is a great place to host your next event. Several groups and individuals use our camp facilities throughout the year for their private and organization events. There are Lodge, Pool, Wedding, and Camp Experience packages available. We can sleep up to 100 attendees and 20 leaders. We can host 200 attendees during the day. Please click on one of the buttons below for more details and rates. Below you will also find a calendar showing unavailable dates.

    [Please note that events held at the CGS facilities must be for not-for-profit use. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the CGS campgrounds. Smoking is not permitted inside any building.]

      [NOTE: does NOT include the Little Cedars Lodge (LCL)*.]  If you have an OVERNIGHT EVENT for up to 100 attendees, or DAY/EVENING EVENT for up to 200 attendees, Camp of the Good Shepherd is a good option for you.  The Camp Facility includes the chapel, the boys and girls dorms, the kitchen/dining hall, recreation room (including foosball, table tennis), the grounds and all outdoor features (including ball court/field and balls/equipment, horseshoes, gaga ball pit, playground equipment, fire pit/benches, but not the pool**).  Archery range and equipment may be available by arrangement with CGS Facilities Management.


      * If available, the LCL may be included for an additional $100/day (or as arranged by CGS Facilities Management).
      ** The pool may be included for an additional $50/day (4 hours of pool use/day between 11AM and 5PM by arrangement with CGS Facilities Management).  [Note: Pool rental does NOT include on-duty lifeguard.]

      OVERNIGHT GUEST RATES  
      (For additional day-only guests see DAILY USE GUEST RATES below, or $5/person for ages 10 – adult)

      Up to 9      $250/night (Up to 14: $10/for each additional person)
      15 – 34      $350/night (Up to 39: $10/for each additional person)
      40 – 54      $500/night (Up to 59: $10/for each additional person)
      60 – 74      $700/night (Up to 79: $10/for each additional person)
      80 – 100    $900/night ($10/for each additional person)

      DAILY USE GUEST RATES  
      (9AM – 5PM, plus one hour for teardown/cleanup)

      Up to 50.  $150/day
      Over 50    $250/day

      [NOTE: All camp reservations are subject to an additional $150 cleaning/damage fee which will be waived after inspection by and with the approval of CGS Facilities Management at the close of each event. If your group does not wish to clean the areas of camp used for your event, you may elect to pay the cleaning fee. CGS Facilities Management will take care of the cleanup.]

    • RENT THE LITTLE CEDARS LODGE (LCL)  
    • LITTLE CEDARS LODGE (LCL)

      The Little Cedars Lodge is a great location for your family or small-group event.  The LCL great room is large enough to seat up to 50 people.  It comes with a large, beautiful fireplace.  The LCL also has a kitchen/dining area complete with a stove, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher.  There is a bathroom and shower.  The Lodge can sleep 8 people in our Bunk House bedroom (6) and Master bedroom (2), so it’s a perfect place for a family overnight, or a small men’s or women’s retreat.

    • POOL PARTY

      Includes pool and pool area, and changing/showering/toilet facilities.  Near the pool there is an outdoor shelter with picnic tables and carpetball game tables.  No lifeguard provided.  Inquire with CGS Facilities Management if you need a lifeguard.  Does not include kitchen or dining hall, or access to chapel, recreation room, Little Cedars Lodge or other rooms/buildings.

      4-HOUR POOL PARTY EVENT RATE
      (Hours of use by arrangement with CGS Facilities Management)
      $100/4-hour pool use

      [NOTE: All camp reservations are subject to an additional $150 cleaning/damage fee which will be waived after inspection by and with the approval of CGS Facilities Management at the close of each event. If your group does not wish to clean the areas of camp used for your event, you may elect to pay the cleaning fee. CGS Facilities Management will take care of the cleanup.]

    • RENT FOR A WEDDING EVENT

      For weddings with up to 200 seated guests, Camp of the Good Shepherd is a perfect venue.  The basic package includes use of the chapel (169 on main floor/32 in balcony) or outdoor space*, restrooms, parking (make arrangements with CGS Facilities Management), prep/changing rooms (as arranged) for wedding party, and kitchen/dining room.  [Overnight sleeping accommodations for guests are available at $20/private room or $10/person in dorms (as arranged).] If in operation, pool may be included for $50/day.  [Note:  Pool rental does NOT include on-duty lifeguard.]

      The Little Cedars Lodge is not included in the WEDDING EVENT package, but, if available, may be added for an additional $100/day.

      ONE-DAY WEDDING EVENT PACKAGE RATE
      (Hours:  9AM – 9PM, or as arranged with CGS Facilities Management)
      $650/add’l hours at $50/hour

      TWO-DAY WEDDING EVENT PACKAGE RATE
      [Includes one full day from 9AM – 9PM, plus 4 hours on the previous or following day (your choice, as arranged with CGS Facilities Management) for setup or cleanup.]
      $1,000/add’l hours at $50/hour

  • Please Note:

    1) To lock in your reservation dates, we require a 20% non-refundable down payment of the total estimated costs of your event (made payable to Camp of the Good Shepherd). The remaining balance due (actual costs minus down payment) must be paid by cash, check or credit card on the final day of your event.

    2) A credit card number must be provided to hold for potential cleaning fees (up to $150) or other expenses or damages incurred by groups renting all or any areas of the CGS facilities. The credit card will not be charged if the group has incurred no additional charges (including cleaning fees).  [A CGS Facilities Management Representative will walk through the campgrounds with the contact person from the rental group prior to the group’s departure at the end of their reservation to confirm whether or not additional fees will be charged to the credit card for cleanup (up to $150) or other expenses/damages.]
