Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicant must be a current CISD Employee
- Applicant must be currently enrolled or planning to attend an accredited college, university, or teacher certification program during the Summer/Fall 2026.
- Scholarship award funds will be sent directly to the college, university, or teacher certification program after enrollment in the Summer/Fall 2026.
- Recipients will be required to provide the Carroll Education Foundation (CEF) with a Current Enrollment Verification Certificate from the accredited college, university or teacher certification program they are attending.
- Scholarship funds must be used only for tuition in the Summer/Fall 2026 academic year.
- Money that is not requested by Dec. 31, 2026, will be forfeited.
Directions:
- All portions of the application must be completed. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
- A complete application must be submitted online by midnight CST on April 25, 2026.
- After the application is received, you will receive an email confirmation. This email confirmation must be saved if proof is needed that the submission was completed. If you DO NOT receive a confirmation for any reason, it is the applicant's responsibility to contact the CEF Scholarship Committee at info@carrolleducationfoundation.org prior to the submission deadline.
- NO submissions will be considered after the deadline, out of fairness to all participants.
There are THREE submission requirements for this application:
- Brief Essay. Respond (500 words max) to ONE of the prompts below:
- Teaching: My Why
- Why CISD
- Recommendation Letter. This may be a community member, employer, co-worker, or mentor.
- Copy of College Transcript.
