Admission and Course Guidelines
Terms and Conditions
In order for a student to apply for an accredited course with MDA, apart from the Basic Health & Safety Course, the student shall undergo a pre course assessment in order to determine the level of aptitude and experience in the area interested.
The fee for the pre-Assessment is Euro 50.00 and will take 1-2 to complete. It is computer based and pass mark will be provided on completion.
MDA will communicate a date with the student for a brief assessment guided by our MDA assessors.
MDA offers the services of a reader aimed for those who lack literacy skills. This is free of charge.
If the student fails from this assessment, he will be guided to follow the ONTRACK course with 24 hours duration and the fee is Euro 450.00
If on the otherhand, the student successfully passes from the assessment, he will follow the FAST TRACK course with just 8 hours duration and the fee is Euro 275.00
On successful completion the student will be presented with certificate issued by MDA which is accredited and approved by NCFHE.
In case of Limestone builder Level 3 course, training and support will be given in preparation for the Masonry Licence exam, for which this has to be independently applied with the Masonry Board bythe student. Further details on this process will be given during the course by our tutors.
With regards to the Basic Health & Safety MQF-1 course, the fee is Euro 50.00 for the course, and Euro 25.00 for the Computer Based Test and that will be carried out after the course, or at a date desired by the student.
