DELEGATION FOR THE POWER OF ATTORNEY

FOR THE SALE OF CHOMETZ

 

I, the undersigned, fully empower and authorise Rabbi A M Sufrin to act in my place and stead, and on my behalf to sell all Chametz possessed by me (knowingly or unknowingly) as defined by the Torah and Rabbinic Laws (e.g. Chametz, doubt or suspicion of Chametz and all Chametz mixtures). Also Chametz that is unfit for human food and that tends to adhere to a surface of the inside of pans, pots or cooking utensils, and all kinds of live animals or birds that eat Chametz or mixture thereof. And to lease all places wherein the Chametz owned by me may be stored or found, especially in the premises specified below and elsewhere, up to and including Wednesday, 8th April 2020, at 10.45 a.m. Rabbi A M Sufrin has the full right to sell and lease by transaction as he deems fit and proper and for such time which he believes necessary in accordance with all the detailed terms and forms as explained in the general contract of sale which will be signed on the instruction of Rabbi A M Sufrin. This authorisation is made part of that contract. Also, I do hereby give the said Rabbi A M Sufrin full power and authority to appoint a proxy in his place with the full power to sell and to lease as provided herein.

The above given power is in conformity with all the Torah, Rabbinical regulations and laws and also is in accordance with the laws of the Country.

Funds raised through the "Sale of Chometz" helps Chabad provide food parcels for those in need, locally.

This form must be returned by Sunday, 5th April, 2020 latest. No responsibility will be accepted for forms received late.

It would be preferable if you would come personally to sign the Main Contract at Chabad Lubavitch NE London & Essex, Doris Shpiro House, 397 Eastern Avenue, Gants Hill, Essex IG2 6LR up to and including Sunday, 5th April, 2020. Please call the office on 020 8554 1624 to make an appointment.
