Policies:
Reservations: Please allow at least 4-6 weeks for party reservations. However, if you request a date and we have an opening, we maybe able to provide accommodations. A rush fee is will added to parties booked less than 2 weeks of your reservation date.
Retainer Fee: To reserve your party date, $100 is due when you book. The Retainer Fee is refunded after pickup and an inspection to determine that no damage was done to Dream House Sleepovers' property. If there is damage to any of Dream House Sleepovers' property, this fee will NOT be returned in the full amount.
Forms of Payment: Dream House Sleepovers accepts credit card payment exclusively through Square Point of Sale. Once your final balance is determined, you will be sent an electronic invoice.
Balances: All outstanding balances are due 2 weeks from your event. Payments that are not received within this time frame will result in a cancellation of your party. Your Retainer Fee will not be refunded.
Cancellations and Refunds: Refunds will not be given for your Retainer Fee or previously paid party balance if you cancel your party. If you need to reschedule for any other reason, we will gladly offer you the next available date.
Event Location Requirements: If you hold your event in your home, we request a large area that is cleared out before our arrival. Floors should be swept, vacuumed, and/or mopped before our arrival. We do not move furniture and to ensure the best party experience for your guests, we recommend adequate space. A large living room, den area, or bonus room are some examples of where the party can be set up. Please let us know when booking, how much space is available and we will tailor your magical sleepover experience to fit your needs. Each tent/teepee requires about 4 x 6 feet of space.
Stairs: If your party is upstairs, there is a $25/flight upcharge. If we arrive at the party location with stairs and the stairs fee wasn't paid, the stairs fee will be taken from the Retainer Fee.
Other Locations: We are happy to set up your event at the location that you choose. However, in the event that you choose a hotel or clubhouse, please be advised that you are responsible for all fees associated with a different location. Should the venue choose to deny us access, your payment will be forfeited. Hotel parties will require a $25 upcharge.
Preventing Damages: No pens, pencils, markers or sharp objects that could puncture the mattress are allowed in the tents. If you choose to provide your guests with refreshments, we ask that tomato based foods, pasta, greasy or messy foods are not served inside the tents. Painting or similar activities are not allowed inside of the tents. These can stain our linens and fabrics and make clean up a challenge. Only light snacks should be eaten inside of the tents. Beverages served inside of the tents should be light colored or clear. No pets are allowed in the sleepover area. Do not move the tents/teepees setup to another location after we have set it up. Do not sleep with or lay on the decorative pillows. Although we understand that accidents happen, the client maybe held responsible for excessive damage to Dream House Sleepovers' property.
Traveling Fee: If the your party location is more than 10 miles from the Dream House Sleepovers business address which is located in the 29680 zip code, a mileage fee will be applied in addition to other accommodations as needed.
Photography: If you select "yes" that Dream House Sleepovers may photograph your event, Dream House Sleepovers reserves the right to use the photographs taken at your event in any promotional media.
Client Obligations: Be on time for your set-up. We will not wait more than 30 minutes. If selecting a popcorn bar, please provide a cleared table. Provide a smoke-free environment. Please keep guests, children, and/or parents clear of party area as we have a set up for party and break down. Please clear the driveway for setup and pickup.
Next Day: We will agree on a pick up time. If your sleepover includes air mattresses, please let air out of the air mattresses prior to us returning.
Mattress: For A-Frame Tents we use a tri-fold foam mat. For Teepees, we only use an air mattress. If an air mattress is requested for a-frame tents, please let us know at the time of booking.
Final Look: Our goal is to make each sleepover unique and special. Inventory used can vary from event to event even if the themes are the same and the final details are to the discretion of Dream House Sleepovers. If a specific decorative item is requested, please let us know at the time of booking and we will try to accomadate the request based on availability.
