    INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH
  • The PACCAL IWHM AWARDS PROGRAM honors and celebrates the achievements and the contributions of these amazing men and women who continue to uplift and better the lives of people around them through their profession and service. This program is also meant to instill grit, resilience, and inspiration to the younger members of the family, friends, proteges, and mentees.

    CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
    Nominations are open from November 1 to to January 22.

    A nominator is required for all nominations. Self-nominations are no longer permitted.

    The Screening Committee which will be tasked with the review, selection, and will review all submissions between January 22-24. The review will include the review of biographies. Selected nominees will receive an official letter from the PACCAL organization by email and mail. The final honorees will be sent an official letter as well.

    The announcement of final honorees will be made by Jan 29.

    EVENT INFORMATION
    The awarding ceremony will take place with dinner-and-dance at the glamorous Marriott Newark Airport Hotel at 1 Hotel Road, Newark, New Jersey, USA on March 15, 2025 at 1pm.

    We request all honorees and guests to arrive at 12 noon (an hour prior to the program) to take pictures with their guests at the various backdrops at the event. Program starts promptly at 1pm.

  • ABOUT PACCAL

  • The Pan American Concerned Citizens Action League, Inc, known as PACCAL, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization initially was formed to help newly arriving Filipino immigrants and veterans in Jersey City. It has now evolved as a health and human service organization to benefit the communities in New Jersey and New York.

    During the pandemic, PACCAL raised 7K and provided PPEs to front-liners, masks to seniors and individuals requesting from NJ-NY. PACCAL delivered food and groceries during the lockdown and on holidays. Every week, amidst the pandemic challlenges, PACCAL continued providing health education classes and light exercises for the seniors via Zoom and at the Harborview Senior Center.

    Concurrently, aside from it PACCAL celebrates the excellence and achievements of men and women through its programs Women's History Month (in March) and the PACCAL Awards (in October).
