The San Diego History Center, located in the heart of Balboa Park is bringing a groundbreaking exhibition called Celebrate San Diego, focused on the history of San Diego’s African American and Black community.
Be a part of the exhibit!

Nominate a Black hero that has been a pioneer, visionary, champion, leader or inspirational to you in the San Diego region.
Hero's Bio (Up to 200 words. Type facts and details of your nominee's life here. If selected, we will work with you to edit to fit the parameters ).
Please note that due to number of submissions and space, not all suggestions may be accommodated. We will, however, be able to display several rounds of heroes throughout the run of the exhibit. Stay tuned!
