When is the best time to do a session ?

Newborn sessions are best done within the first 5-14 days after birth.

Sessions can of course be done after this 14 day window but can take longer and it can be more challenging to keep your little one asleep which is important for keeping them safe for most posing positions and props.

It is recommened to pre-book since we sell out available spots for each month. Only one newborn session is done a day to insure quality and a clean studio for the next little-one.

For Maternity any time from 30-35 weeks +

Add-on images may be purchased in addition to the images included in your package for $23 ea.

All images are provided digitally in high resolution. Only packages offering prints, canvas, or albums include such items. These can also be purchased separately as well.

How do I schedule a session when I have no idea when baby will arrive?

Baby will always arrive on their own schedule so booking ahead makes sure a spot is reserved for them. I only accept a set number of newborns a month to make sure to be able to get them in within the first 5-14 days after they are born. Your deposit guarantees your spot for the month baby is due. Once the baby has arrived you let me know within 2 days and I'll set an appointment for your little one.

Sessions are ideal between 5-14 days after the baby is born. After this period they aren't as sleepy and some poses are not safe or possible while they are awake. Also after 14 days, they tend to get acne and cracking of the skin and also can start to get gassy or colic more often making it difficult to keep them comfortable and sleepy.

All props, clothing , accessories, blankets and equipment are professionally laundered and cleaned with medical grade baby safe cleaners. I have over 14 years of experience with handling newborns and have two children myself. Nothing is more important to me than a newborn's safety and my cleanliness while handling littles ones. I also have experience with handling micro-preemies and multiples.  

A masks will be worn (by photographer) at all times, continual cleaning and disinfecting of hands during the session, the use of specialized baby safe cleaners have been used on all hard surfaces, any surface baby will be against is draped with chuck pads or fresh clean linens or clothing that have been laundered professionally. Any and all other precautions have been taken to make sure your little-one(s) are kept safe. 

All fabrics have been professionally cleaned and disinfected.

I'm also fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as well as up to date on all other vaccinations and boosters.

Once your deposit has been paid your "spot" and appointment are secured. Once baby arrives you notify me within 48 hrs. of their arrival and we will set up a hard date for your appointment within the first 7-14 days after birth. 

PLEASE NOTE: sessions for newborn typically start at 9:30am or Noon TUES-FRI (SAT when available )

Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE (WITH OCCASIONAL EXCEPTION) as of the date they are made for the session time and date you have chosen. Sessions may be rescheduled with 48-hour notice without additional fees or loss of deposit.
