  • We are currently hiring for Management and Kitchen positions on our team. We need:

    1 Daytime Shifts for Soda Jerk,
    0 Evening/Weekend Soda Jerks,
    1 Assistant Manager for Parlor

    Soda Jerk (16+): No experience necessary. Must like people and be willing to serve, clean and have an up beat attitude. High integrity required. Unless hired for Daytime Shifts, Evenings and Weekends shifts required.

     

    Assistant Manager (19+):  20-30 hours a week up to Full Time. Great position for a college student or a mom wanting to get back in the work force. Must be responsible, level-headed, able to lead. Previous leadership experience required. High integrity required. Evenings and Weekends shifts required.

      Soda Jerks: As much as we’d love to allow everyone the flexibility to work whenever most convenient for them, the reality of our business is that most of our customer traffic occurs in the evenings and on the weekends, especially weekend nights. Those are the important times when we need availability to work. We will try to be as flexible as possible in scheduling around school schedules. A job requirement for the part time evening position is that you must be available to work at least one weekend night (a Friday/Saturday/Sunday night every week and a Sunday once a month.) If you cannot commit to this, do not apply. Our minimum scheduling requirement for new hires is that you work one weekend closing shift, and two weekday closing shifts. Furthermore, dates required for ALL Graley's Staff to work are Papillion Days, July 4-5, and Winter Wonderland (the Saturday after Thanksgiving). If you are hired and are unable to fulfill this requirement, you will be taken off the schedule.

    • Working at an ice cream shop looks like fun from the outside, but it is hard work.  The customers can be demanding. It gets hot. There is a lot of pressure and you have to work at times when your friends and family don’t.  You have to be willing to pick up trash, wash dishes, sweep, mop and clean bathrooms, while keeping up a good attitude.  If you think you can handle the pressure of working in a fast-paced environment like this, tell us in a few sentences why you still want to be a part of our team.
