Mallards Swim Team is now accepting entries for the 2025 Summer Camp. The training take place at the Thornlea pool in Markham; and will be held over the four weeks of July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25, July 28-31.

CAMP: 8.00 am-5.00 pm Monday – Friday
- Swimming lessons 2 times/day for 1 hour.
- Swimmers videotaped/analyzed during the day.
- Stroke analysis:
- Body balance and alignment drills
- Breakdown of underwater pull and stroke recovery
- Starts and turns
- Power kicking for distance per stroke
- Breathing and timing patterns
- Training component for basic endurance.
- Various activities (soccer, water polo, basketball, badminton etc.)
- Dry land training
- Nutritional seminars/volleyball

What do swimmmers need?
- Swim suit and towel, goggles and cap, deck shoes.
- T-Shirt and shorts, running shoes.
- Skin protection cream and writing utensils.
- Lunch, snacks and water.
NOTE: Swimmers will be going outside everyday so please bring clothing that will reflect the weather.

The sibling discount applies to a single swimmer, while all other swimmers are charged the standard rate. Specifically, there is a 10% discount for one sibling and a 15% discount for two or more siblings.
To guarantee a spot for your swimmer, please e-transfer the full amount to serge_swim@rogers.com by April 10, 2025. Remember to include your swimmer's name in the transfer message.
*Please note: Swimmers are encouraged to participate in all five days offered per session. A Doctor’s note is required to withdraw with refund from this camp.
*There is no refund for summer camp program if reasons for pool closures or program cancelations include, but are not limited to:
- Mechanical Failures or Environmental Hazards
- Any event threatening the health or safety of our participants or employees will result in immediate pool closure.
- Illness or Fecal Accident
- If someone becomes ill or has a fecal accident in the pool, all swimmers will be asked to exit that section of the Pool immediately and remain out for at least 60 minutes as per industry standards and risk management requirements. Please note that severe incidents may require a closure of 24 hours or more per health codes.
