The Mallards Swim Team has always placed great value on stroke technique. The primary focus of the lessons is to improve overall technique in all four competitive strokes. This will be done in water practice daily. It is our goal to have each swimmer videotaped a few times during the session and show what kids gain during this short period of time and what they need to do in order to improve stroke technique.
Stroke Analysis:
- Body balance and alignment drills
- Breakdown of underwater pull and stroke recovery
- Starts and turns
- Power kicking for distance per stroke
- Breathing and timing patterns
- Training component for basic endurance
Each day we offer a choice of two session. Our coaching staff recommends that swimmers register between 12-20 sessions within the five weeks period. You can sign up to ten times per week.
Sessions are running Monday to Friday:
- Morning session: 8:00 - 9:00 AM
