WORDING:
There are a couple of options which are usually based on whose parents are paying for the wedding.. well that is the old school way. More recently most of the brides I work with use ‘together with their families’ just because the groom’s family these days usually contributes in one way or another but it is completely up to you obviously! {it also depends on how ‘formal’ you want your invites to be}
Examples: ◦Formal: “Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Smith request the honor of your presence of the marriage of their daughter” ◦Less Formal: “Together with their families Jane Smith and John Doe request the pleasure of your company…” ◦Least Formal: “Jane Smith and John Doe together with their parents would like to invite you..”
Would you like your RSVP more Traditional or Fun {examples below}? ·Traditional would say something along the lines of ‘RSVP with check boxes that say yes or no’ ·Fun can be anything you would like- my most popular ‘fun’ rsvp says ‘are you in? or what.’ I have also done ‘can I get a witness?’ and madlibs style rsvps.
