Science in Theatre Festival
The Cell Theatre
Chelsea, New York City
We are so excited to hear about your company and what you do! We are looking to curate the most exciting new tech products and present them in an immersive and engaging environment to audiences of young artists, innovators, techies, investors and journalists.
Science in Theatre Festival is a three-day festival where we present three new science-themed plays and new technologies. Each night we present a fully staged theatrical work, followed by talkbacks, science presentations, and panels consisting of scientists and artists. During the day we will host different innovation technology brands presenting their latest inventions that can be used in the arts; 3-D printing, haptics, EEG devices, wearables, biodata sensors and more.
The day programming will be open 12-6pm every day of the festival. If selected as an innovator you will have your “station” where audiences can interact with your technology and get a slot for a presentation. The presentation should be a TED-Talk style presentation followed by a Q&A. You will be prominently listed on our website and brochure.
The festival will provide press, media coverage, photo and video coverage, live streaming of presentations, lively attendance of tech and art aficionados and networking opportunities. The innovator’s fee is a modest $500 that covers all the tech, operational, promotional and management costs.
