1. Entrants into the Rural Ambassador Awards must be aged from 18 to 28 years of age as of June 6th, 2020.
2. The awards are open to girls born in Australia or naturalised Australian citizens.
3. The applicant must agree they are committed to being a positive representative for the Yeppoon and District Show and local community.
4. If under the age of 18, in the lead up to the event, all entrants must have parental consent in order to be accepted as a representative of the Rural Ambassador Awards conducted by the Yeppoon Show Society’s team.
5. Prospective entrants who are partaking in fulltime studies are advised to ascertain in advance that they are able to obtain leave of absence to participate in the 2020 Yeppoon & District Show and other events organised by the Yeppoon Show Event Coordinators.
6. Should an entrant enter and win a prize or title and does not abide by the above conditions, she will not be eligible for further participation in the Rural Ambassador Awards and will automatically forfeit all prizes and titles associated with the Rural Ambassador Awards.
7. Entrants must accept that any behaviour that will bring disrepute to the Rural Ambassador Awards and is deemed inappropriate by the Yeppoon Show Society's Committee, prior to or during judging, may forfeit their right to participate. This includes all aspects of social media.
