Advise patient to go home by the most direct route. Stay at least 2 metres away from people if you can or transport in L1 vehicle if available.

If away from home:
find a room where you can close the door
avoid touching people, surfaces and objects
Wait by yourself until you have spoken to 111.
Call NHS 111. Do not go to your GP, a pharmacist or a hospital
Tell 111 that you are calling about coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms.
You must tell them where you have travelled or about any contact you’ve had with someone with symptoms.
If you hear a recorded message, make sure you select the option to speak to someone.
The phone service will be very busy but you must wait until you get through.
For 14 days you might be asked to:
stay at home
not go to work, school or public areas
not use public transport or taxis
Ask friends, family members or delivery services to carry out errands for you
try to avoid visitors to your home - it’s OK for friends, family or delivery drivers to drop off food
Following these steps can help reduce the possible spread of infection.

Take details of any close contacts witih the last 24 hours
Transport in vehicle if possible follow full decontamination process after transport wear level 1 PPE and follow all protocalls after the event.
