To help ensure that we place our cats in loving, responsible, committed homes, we have a screening process before you can adopt a pet from Community Cat Care. This process includes application, home check, small adoption fee, and adoption papers. We reserve the right to turn down potential adopters as we deem necessary.
Animals are for life. When you adopt an animal, it is a commitment you make to the animal, for the lifetime of that animal. By adopting a cat or dog from Community Cat Care, you’re making a commitment to provide love, care, and medical treatment for the life of the animal, which can be up to 20 years. Adopting a cat is a serious commitment, but one that is incredibly rewarding.
If at any point in your cats lifetime, you are no longer able to provide them a home, we require the cat come back to the care of Community Cat Care. If you have a close family/friend you would like the cat to go to, we request that you communicate that with us. We want to keep proper record of each of out kitties adopted.
If you are unable to make such a long-term commitment, we would be happy to have you become a foster parent instead, or consider volunteering in other ways. It’s a great way to make a difference in an animal’s life without taking on such a long-term commitment.
We are always accepting monetary donations and supply donations. The kindness of our supporters is how we are able to help the kitties. Thank you for your support.
