What/When: We start classes after the holidays and hold a range of holiday family and youth events in September to build connections and celebrate together. RUACH classes typically meet on Sunday afternoons 3:30-5:30, with some adjustments for holidays, pandemic needs, or special events. Hebrew Havurah meets midweek and/or with independent learning. B'nei Mitzvah cohort will be a time tbd with our group (typically Thursday late afternoon).
RUACH Arts - Grades preK-2
RUACH Arts provides a living foundation for creative expression in Jewish education for children and families.
RUACH Lab & B'nature - Grades 3-4, 5-6
RUACH Lab and B'nature are the Jewish "laboratory" for older students, with a focus on projects, exploring spirituality outdoors, and .
Note: Grades 3+ can enroll also in Hebrew Havurah. Grades 6-7+ can also enroll in B'nei Mitzvah Journey cohort with the Rabbi if they are within 1-2 years of becoming B'nei Mitzvah.
Hebrew Havurah - Grades 3-7
For new, intermediate and advanced levels.
B'nei Mitzvah Journey cohort
Led by the Rabbi Riqi with specialists for students exploring what it means to become B'nei Mitzvah in this challenging time of the world, with your self, your peers, your family, the world and the places where you find spirituality using curriculum designed for this age. This group will also schedule parent-tween education, Havaya outings, pizza dinners experiential services and Shabbat dinners. We encourage creative thinking, to create a Jewish experience and B-Mitzvah ritual that is both independent and communal, meaningful and connected to nature and their lives.
