What connects you to others, provides mental or emotional support, and helps you remember that you are not alone?
The Clark County Children’s Mental Health Consortium wants to see your photographs about the people, places, or things that help you feel connected! A brief statement that explains how the image relates to your feelings of connectedness, being supported, and/or positive mental health must accompany all entries, and will be displayed with submitted photographs.
Prizes will be awarded to the winners and the winning entries may be displayed in schools in Nevada.
All photographs must meet the following standards:
- All submitted photos must be high-resolution: at least 300dpi or 1400x1050.
- Entries must be original artwork, no copyrighted material.
- Contestants may submit no more than 3 entries. A complete entry includes 1 photo and 1 statement.
- Each entry must be accompanied by statement from the contestant about how the image relates to connection, social support, or coping in some way and how that positively affects mental health. Statements should be no longer than 50 words, and they will be displayed with the submitted photograph.
- Entries will be displayed publicly to all ages, and so should be respectful of others. Avoid bad language or other inappropriate language or images.
- All entries will be submitted digitally as a JPEG or PNG file.
- Any text included must be in a size and font that is easy to read
- Parents and teachers may submit an entry on a youth’s behalf.
