You are being asked to participate in a research study. The purpose of this consent form is to help you decide if you want to participate in the study.
You are invited to take part in a survey about your experience as a patient who has undergone treatment for an ACL injury, or as a caregiver to a family member or friend, who has undergone treatment for an ACL injury. This survey is being conducted by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Department of Clinical Quality and Value. We ask that you read this form and make sure all your questions are answered before proceeding with the survey.
Purpose of the Study:
The purpose of this survey is to find out more information about experiences of individuals, or those who acted as caregivers for individuals, who underwent treatment for an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury. The results will be used in the development of the AAOS clinical practice guideline recommendations on Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injuries.
