HerStory Fellowship Application Form

HerStory Foundation is recruiting the second cohort of the Incredible Read-Aloud Fellowship for the 2020-21 session open to current students of Women and Gender Dept., DU, Independent University Bangladesh and BRAC University. The year-long program is designed to equip Fellows with crucial soft skills (public speaking, story-telling, cooperative learning) and engage them in public service. Through the simple act of the read-aloud, Fellows will foster mutual respect and motivate young listeners. HerStories chronicle the lives of important female personalities of Bangladesh, providing a range of different role-models for children and fostering a sense of pride and possibility, in girls and boys alike. বাংলাদেশ নারী ক্রিকেট দল ২০১৮ জাতীয় দল: সালমা খাতুন, জাহানারা আলম, আয়শা রহমান, চামেলী খাতুন, ফারজানা হক, সানজিদা ইসলাম, খাদিজা তুল খুবরা, লতা মন্ডল, পান্না ঘোষ, রুমানা আহমেদ, সাতিরা জাকির, শুকতারা রহমান, শারমিন আক্তার, সুলতানা ইয়াসমিন, ও তাহিন তাহেরা। মালয়েশিয়ায় সেদিন অনেক মানুষ এসেছিলো স্টেডিয়ামে খেলা দেখতে। অনেক হইচই সবদিকে। কিন্তু জাহানারার পূর্ণ মনোযোগ তাঁর দিকে ধেয়ে আসা বলের দিকে। অন্য প্রান্তে সালমা খাতুন দাঁড়িয়ে। জাহানারা তাঁর শরীরের সমস্ত শক্তি দিয়ে বলটিকে হাওয়া ভাসিয়ে দিলেন। প্রান্ত বদল করলেন তাঁরা দুজন এবং নিশ্চিত করলেন ভারতের বিপক্ষে তিন উইকেটের জয়। স্টেডিয়ামের দর্শকদের মাঝে তুমুল উত্তেজনা। বাংলাদেশের মেয়েরা শুধু ভারতকেই হারায়নি, তাঁরা প্রথম বারের মত এশিয়া কাপ জিতে তৈরি করেছেন নতুন এক ইতিহাস। বাংলাদেশের ক্রিকেট ইতিহাসের প্রথম কোন আন্তর্জাতিক ট্রফি জয়।
