The Three Sisters Algonkian Language Virtual Class & Workshop is now open for registration. Our 10 week Fall Semester for beginners and advanced learners will take place between September 26th 2024 until December 5th 2024. Participants will learn The Montauk/Mohegan Y Dialect of the Algonquian Language.

Unkechaug Language Class

This 2025 Summer language class runs for 10 weeks: No fee for Unkechaug or other Long Island Tribal Members. Please email proof of tribal affiliation to 3sisterslanguageworkshop@gmail.com. (If you are not yet an enrolled member of the Unkechaug Nation, but you know you are of Unkechaug descent, you may still be eligible to receive a waiver. Contact us at 516-240-9995 for more information.) After filling out your demographics, skip payment information and proceed to the submit button. If you are not Unkechaug, and have not received a waiver, but would still like to take classes, the registration fee is $100. Classes take place on Tuesdays between 7:00 PM & 8:30 PM. Montauk / Mohegan Introductory Language Class

This Summer 2025 Introductory class runs for 10 weeks: $35 for enrolled Montauk and Long Island, NY Tribal members. Individuals enrolled in any other tribe- registration fee $50. Individuals with no proof of tribal enrollment $100. Please email proof of affiliation to 3sisterslanguageworkshop@gmail.com. Classes take place on Fridays between 7:00 PM & 8:30 PM.

Native American Cuisine Class

Our Native American Cuisine class is free for Montauk and Long Island, NY tribal members. (10 weeks): Individuals enrolled in any other tribe- registration fee $50. All classes below are only offered to Montauk Tribe of Indians citizens or individuals enrolled in other recognized Indigenous communities. Must provide tribal cards as proof.

The undersigned agrees to follow all rules, expectations and provisions set forth within the workshops/classes that he/she will be registering for and participating in. In addition, the individual applicant and/or members, partners or associates of the registrant agree to indemnify and hold harmless The World Alliance of Indigenous Peoples (WAIP), The Montauk Tribe of Indians, fellow workshop participants/members, partners, associations aligned with The Montauk Tribe of Indians, The Montauk Tribe of Indians Council of Elders, The World Alliance of Indigenous Peoples, and their agents from and against all claims, losses, liabilities, expenses, including attorney fees and court costs, arising from any circumstances occurring during any of its workshops.

Refund Policy

Registered students will receive a 75% tuition refund for withdrawals made 30 days prior to the start of class/workshop. Registered students will recieve a 50% tuition refund for withdrawals made 14 days prior to the start of class/workshops. No refunds will be granted to students who withdraw on or after the start of any class or workshop. By completing this form and submitting payment you are accepting the terms of the Refund policy, rules, expectations and provisions and conditions set forth within this registration form.
