Climbing or hiking Ben Nevis is a hugely challenging and rewarding day out for all those who choose to undertake it, and with a guided ascent you can experience the best this mountain has to offer in the company of one of our local and experienced guides.
On our Ben Nevis Group Walks we follow the Mountain Track to the summit and back which usually takes between 6 and 8 hours. There is no technical ground so although no prior experience is required, you should have a good level of fitness to really enjoy the day.
Under 18 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
(In early May there is a chance of a considerable amount of snow higher up on the mountain which will require crampons and an ice axe. This kit can be hired from Ellis Brigham in Fort William and we will let you know as early as possible if it will be required.)
