  • Select a Delivery Type

At the Friendly Neighbour Hotline, we support seniors with the delivery of both groceries and food banks. Due to the differences in these types of orders, we have two separate pools of volunteers: grocery delivery volunteers and food bank volunteers. You are welcome to participate in both if you would like!

Grocery delivery is our most flexible form of volunteering as it allows volunteers to shop and deliver at their own convinience. Food bank volunteering is less flexible, but it offers a recurring volunteering opportunity on either a weekly or monthly basis. Please note that food bank pick-ups are scheduled during normal working hours (9AM-5PM) and require either a car or buggy as they are large.

  • Please select a delivery preference(s)
  • Are you interested in helping with food bank deliveries in your own ward (selected above) or anywhere in the city of Toronto?
