Prescription Policy Update

Effective December 2020
As of December 2020, OVS will no longer accept any prescription requests submitted via outside pharmacy. To purchase your medications from an outside pharmacy, you will have to obtain a written prescription from our office and submit it to the pharmacy of your choice.

Please note that most chronic use medications require lab work and an exam every 6 months.

* Please note: Written Presciprtion Refill Requests are processed once a week and require increased lead times. If you request a written prescription, please keep track of it, you will not be issued a new one for that medication until the void date has passed.

To obtain medications from a third party (Chewy, Costco, etc) you must request a written prescription from us. You will be responsible for picking up that prescription from the clinic and submitting it to a pharmcay of your choice. Most online pharmacies require you to mail the prescription to them. Please do not wait until the last minute to request written prescriptions; give yourself plenty of time.
