President– Serve as presiding officer of the PTA at Executive Board and membership meetings. Direct and coordinate business of the PTA in cooperation with the other board members, school administration, faculty and staff to the benefit of the school community.1st Vice President (Aide to the President) – Assist the president to fulfill the PTA’s mission throughout the year.2nd Vice President (Membership) – Keep a database of the PTA’s members and help to grow and strengthen the PTA’s membership force.3rd Vice President (Ways and Means)– Responsible for selecting and overseeing fundraising opportunities to fund PTA’s planned activities.4th Vice President (Programs)– Organize and oversee events that help enrich students and their families’ lives throughout the school year. These events include things such as Popsicles in the Park, Donuts With Dad, and Muffins With Mom.Secretary– Maintain important records of the PTA and write the minutes for each meeting.Parliamentarian– Serve as a consultant for the board to ensure that proper parliamentary procedure is followed.Treasurer – Responsible for the funds for the PTA. Handles all deposits and provides financial reports for each Executive Board and membership meeting. Also files all necessary tax forms.Hospitality– Organizes events to help show appreciation to teachers and staff, such as the back to school teacher luncheon and Teacher Appreciation Week.Healthy Lifestyles – Organize events to promote exercise and healthy eating, like Bike and Walk to School Day.Volunteer – Maintain a list of volunteers and coordinate help for different events at the school.
