Mastering the Lab Scope: The lab scope is one of the most powerful diagnostic tools available to the technician. In this HANDS ON class the technician will be taught all aspects of lab scope operation, from how the scope works to how to properly set up the scope and record and capture any automotive signal. This class will explain the sampling rate of the scope, how to set time and voltage settings, how to set the scope trigger and how to employ filters to clean up signal lines to eliminate external noise. Included in the class will be numerous trouble shooting exercises as well as current probe operation and diagnostics. This class will also include instruction on multi channel testing and glitch capture and playback. Additionally this class will cover Additional Scope accessories such as Pressure Transducers. This class is designed for all levels of scope user from beginner to advanced. Technicians are expected to bring their own equipment.
