  • The MinistrySafe Protection Policy of First United Methodist Church (FUMC) provides a covenant framework for sharing in ministry together. Our goal is to create a safe environment for children, students, and vulnerable adults as well as for adult staff and volunteers serving in these ministries.


    We appreciate your willingness to serve in ministry with our children, students, and/or vulnerable adults and thank you for your role in keeping these ministries safe for all.

     

     This application is the start of the screening process to become an eligible volunteer/employee at FUMC Georgetown. All volunteers/employees must complete an online criminal history background check, online MinistrySafe Sexual Abuse Awareness Training, and sign the MinistrySafe Protection Policy Training Covenant.
