In consideration of private and/or group training lessons or classes or pet sitting (collectively “Training”), I(the “Student”) release Positive Partners Dog Training, LLC Brianne Harris, Eli Chamberlain, and any other associated entities from any action, claim or demand for damages, injury and/or death which arises out of Student’s participation in Training. This includes, without limitation, damage, injury and/or death resulting from the action of any person or dog, or for any incident or accident occurring before, during or after Training, even if such actions, claims or demands arise out of the negligence of Positive Partners Dog Training, LLC, Brianne Harris, Eli Chamberlain, and/or Hellbender Fitness. Student agrees not to hold Hellbender Fitness responsible
for any harm that may arise from use of the facilities.

 

Student acknowledges that no representation, guarantee or promise has been made that the Training will eliminate dangerous propensities that a dog may possess. Student further acknowledges that regardless of the Training, a dog always possesses the ability to bite. Student hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Positive Partners Dog Training and Brianne Harris from and against all claims, actions, demands, costs and expenses (including attorney’s fees) for injury, damage and/or death caused, in whole or in part, by Student or Student’s dog(s), even if such claims arise out of the negligence of Positive Partners Dog Training and/or Brianne Harris.

 

 The safety of Student’s dog(s) and individuals the dog(s) has/have contact with before, during and after Training is the responsibility of Student and not Positive Partners Dog Training or Brianne Harris. The Student assumes all risks to themselves, their family, guests, property and their dog(s). Student agrees to accept full responsibility for Student’s actions, those of their family and/or guests and their dog(s).

Guarantees: I understand that Brianne Harris of Positive Partners Dog Training will make every reasonable effort, within the scope of the class I have registered for, to help me achieve my training and behavior modification goals, but can make no guarantee of my dog's performance or behavior as a result of providing professional animal behavior consultation.

 

Student Compliance: I understand that I and members of my household must follow Brianne’s instructions without modification, work with dog daily as recommended, and constantly reinforce training being given to your dog in order to see progress in training and to meet my training goals.

 

Refunds: I understand that if I cancel my group class purchase less than 7 days before the class begins, I will only recieve a 50% refund.  I understand that there are NO refunds for cancellations after the first session of class begins. There are no refunds for unused training hours, classes, services or for disagreements on methodology.

 

Absences: I understand that there are no makeup classes for missed lessons. Students will receive emailed homework support, and may make arrangements to arrive early to get help with missed lessons.

 

Class Date/Time Changes and Cancellations: I understand that if class is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, I will receive notice no later than 1 hour before class. I understand it is my responsibility to know when classes are held, and to check my email prior to class in case of emergency cancellations.

 

Please thoroughly read the below rules. Students who do not follow class policies may be asked to leave a class session. Repeat offenders will be asked not to return to group lessons. There are no refunds offered for lost lesson time due to students not following policies.

1.       NO DOG-DOG INTERACTIONS OR MEET-AND-GREETS before, during or after class.

2.       Your dog must be ON LEASH with the leash IN YOUR HAND at all times.

3.       Potty your dog in the designated potty areas, but do not let them urinate on or walk in landscaping. Please bring your own bags for waste. Clean up after your dog and then drop the bag in the white paw print can.

4.       Bring your class supplies in and set up your station BEFORE bringing in your dog.

5.       Please ask before you pet another dog.

6.       If you or your dog needs a break during class, by all means, take one. Go out to the potty area and let your dog relax, or just sit quietly and watch while others work their dogs.
