Students will need to have access to the Internet and a computer or tablet preferably with camera and microphone.
Tuition: $89 for the first student in a family
$80 for each additional student in the same family
Workshops are FREE to regular students who attend the 1 day a week class on Mondays from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. Cost for this class including workshops is $175 per month.

Workshops will be 1 hour per week in the late afternoon or evening unless a group wants to have a morning class.

Event Planning: Cathy Frampton
This Class Business will Plan a Holiday Teen Biz Expo for Dec. 12 to be held in person or online or both. Students will work as a group. Students will:
Choose a location and figure out how to lay out spaces for booths
Choose a theme and decorations
Decide on a fee to charge students who want booths so money is made on the event
Publicize the event using Social Media, Community Calendars, etc.
Run the event either in person or online on Dec. 12
Sales of Products or Services: Brennan Tisa
This Class Business will Plan a Holiday Teen Biz Expo for Dec. 12 to be held in person or online or both. Students will work as an individual. Students will:
Choose a business you would like to start no matter how small. Businesses can be selling something students make, something they acquire from someone else, a service they can perform such as babysitting, clean-up, graphic arts designs, shopping for seniors, coaching children's sports, parties for kids, etc.
Learn how to set up a Sales Booth in person and online for the Holiday Teen Biz Expo on Dec. 12
Learn to set a price for the products or service to charge customers and (in theory) make money at the Holiday Teen Biz Expo
Learn marketing and develop a list of interested customers for follow-up marketing.
Performing Arts: Tino Ibach
Students who sing, dance, act, or play an instrument will be learning how to turn their talent into a business and make money for performing. Students will learn:
How to prepare a promo at Kern Search for Talent Nov. 6. This does not include competing, only a demonstration by performing.
How to choose a target market
How to set up a fee structure for charging for entertaining
How to market using Social Media, a website, flyers, etc.
How to contact people who hire entertainers.

Other dates and times may be added by parent request with a minimum of 10 students enrolled per section.
