Students will need to have access to the Internet and a computer or tablet preferably with camera and microphone.
Tuition: $175 includes workshops

This is the best value because students will learn about real life business, mindset, and entrepreneurship. This program will provide skills to last a lifetime whether as a business owner, manager, or an employee.
Workshops are FREE to students who enroll in the Entrepreneurship 1 class which will be 1 day a week on Mondays from 3:00 to 4:30 pm starting January 11, 2021.
Workshops Only starting Week of March 11, 2020:
Tuition: $49 for the first student in a family
$40 for each additional student in the same family
Workshops will be 1 hour per week in the late afternoon or evening unless a group wants to have a morning class.
All workshops will include the basics of setting up a small business.
All workshop times can and will be adjusted based on the schedules of the students in the workshop.
These are crazy times and we cannot predict what the world will be like going forward in 2021.
Performing Arts: Tino Ibach
Starts Tues., March 9, 2021
Students who sing, dance, act, or play an instrument will be learning how to turn their talent into a business and make money for performing. Students will learn:
How to prepare a promo for advertising
How to choose a target market
How to set up a fee structure for charging for entertaining
How to market using Social Media, a website, flyers, etc.
How to contact people who hire entertainers.
Performing and having a booth at Teen Biz Expo on April 3 and May 22, 2021. Turn Your Talent into a Business!
Matrix Entrepreneur Academy does not have classes or give lessons in any of the performing arts. We do have a list of very talented instructors for you to contact, if you do not currently have an instructor.
Event Planning: Cathy Frampton
Starts Wed., March 10, 2021
This Class Business will Plan a Teen Biz Expo for April 3 and May 22, 2021 to be held in person or online or both. Students will work as a group. Students will:
Choose a location and figure out how to lay out spaces for booths
Choose a theme and decorations
Decide on a fee to charge students who want booths so money is made on the event
Publicize the event using Social Media, Community Calendars, etc.
Run the event either in person or online on April 3 and May 22, 2021.
Starting a Legal Business: Staff
Starts Thurs., March 11, 2021
This Class will focus on starting or growing a small business to display at the Teen Biz Expo for April 3 and May 22, 2021. The event is to be held in person or online or both. Students will work as an individual with the option of hiring employees. Students will:
Choose a business you would like to start no matter how small. Businesses can be selling something students make, something they acquire from someone else, a service they can perform such as babysitting, clean-up, graphic arts designs, shopping for seniors, coaching children's sports, parties for kids, etc.
Learn how to set up a Sales Booth in person and online for the Teen Biz Expo on April 3 and May 22, 2021.
Learn to set a price for the products or service to charge customers and (in theory) make money at the Teen Biz Expo
Learn marketing and develop a list of interested customers for follow-up marketing.
Other dates and times may be added by parent request with a minimum of 10 students enrolled per section.
