  • You must give us at least 2 weeks notice of your election dates. If you give less than this notice we will ask for for new dates. 

    Please note that staff typically work 9-5 Mon-Fri and will not be able to count/approve elections outside of this time. Please plan you election accordingly and avoid closing nominations or polling on weekends.

  • Only standard members of the group can cast a vote in elections - this does not include associate members or interest list members. As voting is on the Single Transferable vote system, voters will see the following text:"Vote for each position separately. You need to register your vote by writing a number next to each candidate: 1 for your highest preference, 2 for your second highest preference and so on. If you are unhappy with the choice of candidates then you can vote for R.O.N. (re-open nominations), which could lead to the election being run again."

    List the committee positions that are up for election (e.g. President, Treasurer), the number of positions available, and the position description (copy + paste from your constitution). Please ensure that all the committee positions you are requesting are listed on your group's page. If not, go to your admin tools, select 'Groups', and add the position.
