Edutel Higher Education is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training until 31 December 2027 as a private higher education institution under the Higher Education Act, 1997. Registration certificate No. 2017/HE07/001. By completing and submitting this enrolment application form, you are applying to be enrolled as a student for a Course(s) offered by us. In this application, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to Edutel Higher Education (Proprietary) Limited and “you” or “your” refer to the individual described in Section A of this application. This application includes terms and conditions in Section I.

Note: All students that enrolled and started with the Diploma in Grade R Teaching before 31 May 2022 must complete at least one African Language (other than English or Afrikaans) at a minimum of first year level before the Diploma in Grade R Teaching can be conferred to you.

In terms of paragraph 14.4 of the Revised Policy on the minimum requirements for Teacher Education Qualifications, all new entrants (not presently a Grade R/ECD Practitioner) intending to become foundation phase teachers (qualified to teach Grade R to 3) should register for the Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching rather than for the Diploma in Grade R Teaching, if they meet the requirement for entry into the Bachelor of Education programme.
