Fabric Mask and Face Shield Volunteer Form
Due to the wonderful feedback from our mask-sewing project for area hospitals and medical centers, we have been asked by EMU, YCS Foundation, and Rotary, to get YCS students masks to start the school year! We invite you to fill out this form if you would like to commit to the following:
- Sewing 50 masks from pre-made sewing kits. We will continue to provide the sewing kits to you and will be in bags of 50. All fabric is cut via an industrial fabric cutter through a partnership with the EMU Department of Fashion Marking Innovation. Elastic or fabric ties will be provided. Kits can be picked up at the EMU Department of Public Safety (1200 Oakwood Street).
- We ask that you commit to sewing masks within a 15-day timeframe. Masks can be dropped off to the EMU Department of Public Safety in the same box.
