Owner Surrender Appointment Request

Please complete the form in its entirety to request an appointment to surrender your pet(s) to San Antonio Animal Care Services.

We highly recommend gathering good, clear pictures of all animals prior to completing this form as this form does not save unless completed in full.

Owner surrender requests are $25 (per pet) due at the time of the surrender.*
San Antonio Animal Care Services has limited capacity for owner surrender intake. Upon physical surrender, ownership is immediately transferred to San Antonio Animal Care Services and your animal(s) may be euthanized.*
It is my responsibility to provide transportation for the animal to our location at the appointed time of surrender. ACS staff is not able to pick up owner surrendered animals. *
When ACS begins accepting appointments are scheduled during the following times: Monday- Friday from 1pm - 3pm.*
Owner Surrenders to Animal Care Services are only available to citizens who reside inside San Antonio City limits.*
