System Requirements / Prerequisites
The main elements the system requires for its operation are as follows:
- An internet connection, so that your computer / printer can connect to the system, fetch, and print orders.
- A receipt printer, connected to a an existing Windows-based POS system, -or- connected to a Windows tablet -or- an Intelligent POS printer. If you do not have one, we can provide one for you.
- Web hosting (windows). Shared Windows hosting is typically ok, though a very busy takeaway will typically need hosting with 512-1024MB RAM. We can provide you with hosting on our Supreme Managed Hosting with a Gold Server Management Plan, for just £10/month.
- Domain name, where the system will reside on.
- Other elements such as your Payment gateway, Email account, etc we work with you to setup during the setup of the system.
