Contract for Water & Sewer - Landlord Agreement

Subject to the Rules and Regulations governing the Division of Water and Sewer of the City of Fostoria, and all ordinances and laws pertaining thereto, now in force or which shall later become in force, the undersigned hereby makes application for water and sewer services to be turned on for use at premises known as:

and hereby agrees to become responsible for and make prompt payment of all water and sewer charges and fess connected therewith. Owner assumes ultimate liability for all water and sewer charges at said premises by whomever incurred. If the customer applying for service under this contract is not also the owner of the premises, then no service will be provided unless the landlord/owner of the premises has first completed and filed with the City a form agreeing that the premises may be occupied by tenants and acknowledging that real estate taxes ultimately may be assessed for any unpaid water and sewer utility service charges at the service address by whomever incurred.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND YOU MUST NOTIFY THE CITY WATER DEPARTMENT OF ANY CHANGE OF TENENTS AT THE SERVICE ADDRESS, OR IF THE SERVICE ADDRESS CEASES TO BE A RENTAL PROPERTY.

If a tenant occupied, tenant must answer the following and sign in order to obtain service; provided property is served with (1) service line and (1) meter.

A $75 deposit is required to turn on water at this location. This deposit must be paid before scheduling service. You may drop it off at the office or outside night drop box The water department requires a two day notice for scheduling. Choose a date/time below that will work for you and our office will be in touch to schedule.
