In June 2020, the Board of Trustees passed changes to our leave policy that allows staff to have access to a sick leave pool funded by donations from employees and hours forfeited by terminated employees. Please use this form to apply for Family and Medical Leave and/or to see if you qualify for the use of the sick leave pool.

Family and Medical Leave – Public Health Emergency: The law requires that we give all employees who have worked for the college at least 30 days 12 weeks of leave for reasons defined by the FFCRA. The first two weeks are unpaid (although the leave is paid at 2/3 their normal rate.
Additionally, the college is allowing for Physical Isolation Leave, in which Employees wishing to take additional time for physical isolation, but do not have a Qualifying Reason for Leave, may elect to use their regular sick leave balance (if available) or take unpaid administrative leave for that purpose.
