
In response to the current COVID-19 crisis, John McDonough, VPP’s Chief Executive Officer, has donated a portion of his salary to start a VPP Assistance Fund for employees and families who are in need.
This employee-directed fund will be funded by employee personal funds. We are One Team, One Community and we are all in this together. We are here to help VPP employees and their families during hard times.
This is how the VPP Assistance Fund works:
If you and/or your family are experiencing difficulty, you can apply for assistance from the fund.
Reasons may include but are not limited to:
- COVID-19 illness
- Other Health issues
- Quarantine
- Financial concerns
- Child care issues
- No paid time off
- Other
A committee of individuals from HR, operations and finance will review each request and approve based on need and available funding. Please keep in mind, our ability to notify applicants of approval is based on the availability of donated funds. It could be up to 5 weeks before we're able to notify you of application approval.
