1. Sit Pretty Pet Services will endeavor to create as safe an environment as possible for the training of my dog and will endeavor to offer only sound, safe, and responsible training and training instructions. However, I recognize that Sit Pretty Pet Services is not responsible for any unintentional errors, omissions, or incorrect assertions. I understand that the recommendation of any other product or service is not a guarantee of my satisfaction with that product or service. Further, I am and will remain responsible for the actions of my dog at all times. I hereby agree to abide by the rules and policies of Sit Pretty Pet Services training classes as set forth in this contract. I understand that attendance of dog training classes is not without risk to myself, members of my family, guests who may attend, or to my dog. In consideration of, and as inducement to the acceptance of my application for training membership in this training class, I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sit Pretty Pet Services, its officers, directions, instructors, agents, employees and/or representatives of any and all claims, or claims by any member of my family, or accompanying guests of mine in injury, expense, costs or damages to myself, my dog or any handler sponsored by me both in class and out of class. In addition, I agree that I will defend and indemnify Sit Pretty Pet Services for any injury, expense, costs or damages to any dog handlers or dogs, whether sponsored by me or not, or to third parties arising out of my own actions or the actions of my dog. I have read the above-states provisions and agree to accept those responsibilities.
2. Payment Policy: Payment is due prior to the start of training to reserve a spot in class. We accept cash, check (payable to Vanessa Charbonneau) or email money transfer. This payment is nonrefundable.
A spot will not be held until payment is received along with this signed Registration and copy of your dog's vaccination status. These items must be received prior to commencement of the first class.
3. Cancellation Policy: You must cancel within 7 business days before your class starts that you registered for for a refund. This gives us time to fill your space. All refunds are subject to a $20 cancellation fee.
If you miss a session, please contact the trainer to discuss what was covered. Make-up classes are not permitted.
4. Class Rules:
Vaccinations – For puppy class, we require proof of 1 DA2PP vaccine. For all other classes, we require proof of vaccines being up to date, including Bordetella. You must present proof of vaccination prior to the first session in order to participate. Vaccination records are not required for online training classes.
Declines & Referrals – In order to protect all participants in the class, we reserve the right to decline entry to any dog who presents behavior issues that may be overly dangerous, disruptive, or that may be exacerbated by participation in a group class. If behavior issues are discovered during class and the trainer determines that it is in everyone’s best interest for you to seek a private trainer, you will be provided with a qualified trainer referral and receive a refund.
Children in class – Children and other family members are welcome to attend our public classes. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone in the class, please review our guidelines. Children must remain with their parents and under parental control at all times.
5. Photo Release – By initialing you give Sit Pretty Pet Services permission to publish in print, electronic or video format the likeness of image of you and/or your dog. You release all claims against Sit Pretty Pet Services with respect to privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright ownership and publication, including any claim for compensation related to use of the materials.
