If you are both part-time employed and part-time enrolled, please select the option that you spend most of your time doing. See the example below:
*Note: 1 college course typically equals 3 credit hours, you will likely spend an equal amount of hours outside of class studying. Therefore, you will send a total amount of 6 hours on college work per week.
Example 1:
You are enrolled in 9 credit hours at a two or four year college. Therefore, your total number of hour spent is 18 (9 hours in class + 9 hours studying outside of class = 18 total hours). You are also working 12 hours per week at a local business. Your combined number of hours per week is 30 (18 for school related + 12 for employment). In this example, the majority of your time is classifed as enrolled. Therefore, you should select mostly enrolled/some employment.
Example 2:
You are enrolled in 6 credit hours at a two or four year college. Therefore, your total number of hour spent is 12 (6 hours in class + 6 hours studying outside of class = 12 total hours). You are also working 20 hours per week at a local business. Your combined number of hours per week is 32 (12 for school related + 20 for employment). In this example, the majority of your time is classifed as employed. Therefore, you should select mostly employed/some enrollment.
