DR. BOBBI VOERMANS
Dr. Bobbi Joy Voermans joined the Park City Credit Union Board of Directors in 2014. Dr. Bobbi has been a lifelong member of PCCU and currently serves as Board Treasurer.
Dr. Bobbi was born and raised in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Her family owned and operated the Village Square Restaurant where she started working when she was just 9 years old. Dr. Bobbi loved working in the family business, whether she was dishwashing or managing the day-to-day operations.
In 1996, Dr. Bobbi graduated Salutatorian from Tomahawk High School and received the Herb Kohl scholarship. She went on to study Biology and play softball at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. In 2000, Dr. Bobbi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, then went on to attend Northwestern College of Chiropractic, where she obtained her doctorate.
Dr. Bobbi was inspired to go into the field of chiropractic years earlier when diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in middle school. Originally Dr. Bobbi was told she would be wheelchair-bound, but through chiropractic care, she was able to not only walk, but play college sports! Bobbi became a chiropractor to help others fulfill their hopes and dreams, just as she has done.
After graduating from Chiropractic College, Dr. Bobbi became an associate doctor in Green Bay, Wisconsin and then in Medford. In 2009, she was given an awesome opportunity to move back to Tomahawk, and in June 2015, Bobbi fulfilled a lifelong dream by purchasing the clinic where she worked and Voerman’s Healthcare LLC, DBA Hometown Chiropractic Clinic was born. In 2017,
Dr. Bobbi bought her second clinic in Rhinelander.
Dr. Bobbi lives on a farm in the scenic Harrison Hills with her husband, Grant, who is a mechanical engineer at L&S Electric. They have two daughters, Samantha and Alicia.
