 I offer high-quality hand-tied extensions, including Invisible Bead Extensions (IBE). I also have been certified in Habit Extensions and JZ Styles methods, but choose not to use these behind the chair anymore. I am constantly upgrading my education to best service my clients.

How long do hair extensions last?

With proper care, the hair itself can last 6–12 months, while move-up appointments are usually needed every 8-12 weeks to maintain scalp health and overall appearance of the look and feel of your install. 

 

Can I bring my own hair?

No. I cannot gaurantee the quality or know the true source of the extensions unless they are directly purchased through me.

 

What type of hair extensions do you use? 

 I use a variety of high-quality, ethically sourced hair extensions, carefully selecting the brand based on my client’s specific hair texture—whether wavy, straight, or curly. The extensions I use are single-drawn with the cuticle intact, ensuring a natural look and long-lasting quality. I can even source virgin hair for those wanting the most natural, untouched option.

 

Can Extensions Cause Damage?

In short, yes, extensions can cause damage—but only if they are improperly installed or not cared for correctly at home. Extensions are a partnership between the stylist and the client. As a stylist, I ensure they are installed safely using certified techniques, but once you leave the salon, proper care is in your hands. Regular brushing, gentle handling, and attending maintenance appointments are essential to keeping your natural hair healthy and preventing damage.

 In fact, many clients notice significant hair growth while wearing extensions! Because extensions protect your natural hair from excessive heat styling and damage, they can actually help your hair grow longer and healthier over time when properly maintained.

 

How long does the installation process take?

The initial installation takes about 2-5 hours, depending on the number of rows and your desired look.

 

How often do I need to get my extensions moved up?

To keep them looking seamless, you’ll need a move-up appointment every 8-12 weeks.

 

Can I style my extensions like my natural hair?

 Yes! You can curl, straighten, and even put your extensions in ponytails or updos. 

 

How do I care for my extensions? 

 At your appointment I will walk you through each step of taking care of your extensions, including what type of products are best! 

 

 

 

Will my extensions match my natural hair?

Absolutely! I carefully color-match and custom color your extensions to blend perfectly with your natural hair for a flawless finish.

 

 

 

Can I work out or swim with extensions?

Yes! Just pull your hair back before workouts. When swimming, rinse with fresh water first and use a leave-in conditioner to protect your extensions from chlorine or saltwater. Wash your hair the same day you swim - Exposure to chemicals and salt can dry your extensions out faster so just be mindful of how much underwater swimming you’re doing. 

 

Can I wear my hair up with these extensions?

Yes! My installs are designed for maximum flexibility, so you can easily style your hair up without visible tracks.
