COMMUNITY TRANSMISSIONS is open to live artists based in Australia with practices at any stage of development. We particularly encourage applications from artists who have faced financial or social hardships as a result of COVID19 and/or those who regularly experience reduced access to arts opportunities.
This is a paid residency with a one time honorarium of $1000 AUD offered to succesful participants.
Selection Criteria:

Applicants must have a live arts practice (inclusive of performance, installation, participatory, durational, experimental, trans/multi/interdisciplinary work).

Propose an area of research or exploration that engages critically and creatively with futures of live arts practice and/or the role of live art in visioning futures.

Be willing to engage in collaborative dialogue and exchange with other participants.

Have availability for self directed work and one group workshop per week over the six week period

Demonstrate a desire to collaborate on new or ongoing work with other participants.

Demonstrate relevant skills and experience.

Have a focus/project that can translate into a public outcome, which can include an artist talk or showing of work in progress.
