Cathy was a dedicated teacher, principal and superintendent with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board who had a deep love of music. This award has been established in her honour to help ensure that music stays alive in the classroom.
Purpose of the Award

The purpose of the Cathy Nevins Memorial Fund is to support the purchase of musical instruments and sheet music, as well as the presentation of music workshops.
