The coronavirus outbreak may be stressful for a lot of us, and it can be hard to cope with the anxiety and uncertainty of everything that is unfolding.
Reflection through writing, art, poetry, and other creative mediums can be a valuable way to process, heal, and connect with others.
Your deans and peers through Progress Notes have launched a platform to serve as a creative outlet for students. You may choose to share your experiences volunteering, working directly or indirectly with patients, or simply living through challenging times. It is our goal to act as a repository for creative output and the student voice.
Submissions will be published on the official Baylor College of Medicine Blog Network and official and informal social media outlets.
As a reminder, we are here to help and are open to discussing your ideas, experiences, and concerns. The deans are also welcome to hearing your thoughts and supporting you through this time. Additional resources are available.
Please do not hesitate to send any questions or comments to progressnotes@bcm.edu.
