• "Feed the Hungry" Grant Application

  • The current worldwide crisis of COVID-19 is leaving thousands of animals without homes, closing hundreds of shelters and rescues, and leaving many hungry and in desperate need of supplies. In response to the overwhelming number of calls we are receiving from animal rescuers, shelters and first responders, American Humane has launched a "Feed the Hungry" fund. This fund will provide much needed basic supplies for animals, like food, cat litter, and medical supplies. We know these basic necessities are needed now more than ever as supply chains are strained and stay at home orders are negatively impacting animal welfare groups.

Please submit the following application to be considered as part of our "Feed the Hungry" grant campaign. We realize the need is immense, but we are unfortunately unable to fulfill every request. If you do not receive a response from us, you have not been selected to receive the grant funding. Please do not email or call to inquire on the status of your grant application.

Thank you for all that you do for animals in need.
