The Office of Community Outreach and the Center for Educational Outreach at Baylor College of Medicine are seeking student volunteers to create video content for students at our STEM magnet middle schools: the Baylor College of Medicine Academy at James D. Ryan Middle School and the Baylor College of Medicine Biotech Academy at Rusk Middle School.

These videos will be a key resource for the students and their teachers during this time.

Options to participate are listed below. A representative from the Office of Community Outreach will contact you upon submission of this form. Please contact the Office of Community Outreach with any questions or concerns.

5-Minute Science Moment
This topic is a chance for you (and some friends!) to get creative with explaining some of the fundamentals of science. Choose from a variety of topics from epidemiology to enzyme functions and make it fun. These videos will be used to boost the at-home curriculum currently being taught to our magnet school students.

My STEM Story
Everyone’s journey is different. What inspired you to seek your chosen career? Why healthcare/STEM? This is your chance to give a student a glimpse into what life is like as Baylor learner! Share your story.  

Science Story Time
Sometimes, we just need to hear a good story! This is an opportunity to read science adventure stories to kids currently at home. Make the pages come alive and show them how fun science can be.
