I am happy that you will trust me to quilt your masterpiece with all of your hard work making your beautiful quilt top. I assure you that I take it seriously and do my best to honor this work with my quilting. I do not use a computer, but all my work is free-motion design.
Please press and trim threads from your quilt and check for open seams. It is not uncommon in the case of lots of small pieces and bias edges for there to be a difference in lengths or widths of your quilt top. When adding borders, please do not ease in more than 1/4" to 1/2" because it can cause puckering when we quilt it. If this happens, I will call you to see if you want to incur an extra $25 fee for me to remove your quilt from the frame for your repairs and have it remounted and finished. Otherwise, you can request that I do my best work with it as is.
I love to quilt vintage quilt tops and those that have been hand-pieced, but some of them will have puckering in the quilting where it will not lay flat. I have done many and do my very best to minimize it, but it is not a guarantee that it will be perfect.
Payment of materials and deposit* of $50 is required at time of order and the remainder is due upon completion. Request date is not guaranteed. I agree to credit Linda Chase and Wimberley Stitch Studio if quilt is entered into a show or published and Wimberley Stitch Studio may use photographs of my quilt for promotional purposes. Any items left unpaid 30 days after notification of completion will be donated unless prior written arrangements have been made. We take great care with your quilts, but in case of unforeseen and irreparable damage, reimbursement is limited to cost of materials. Your signature above constitutes your agreement to this contract.
Deposit is non-refundable 5 days after deposit is made. However, if work has not begun on your quilt after this 5-day period, your deposit can be applied to a future quilt or for store credit.
