A yearly maintenance fee of $80.00 per-student will be collected from each student who uses Katy ISD owned instrument(s) for band or orchestra. Once issued, the instrument(s) become the sole responsibility of the parent/guardian of the student. In the event of loss or damage (to include stolen instruments) caused through carelessness and/or negligence of the student, the parent/guardian is responsible for the repair or replacement of the instrument.
If any damage is noted upon receipt of instrument, or if repairs are needed, contact your band or orchestra director immediately.
Payments can be made in cash or check made out to Katy ISD.
