Private training lessons are personalized to help you and your dog reach your training goals. From basic obedience skills, to challenging behavior problems, we can provide you with a plan to guide you and your dog to success. In this 60 minute session our trainer will gather history about your dog and living situation, evaluate your dog’s behavior and work with you to make a plan to reach your training goals. Our trainer will then demonstrate the training process for you, and coach you on how to implement the skills in real life scenarios. You will leave this lesson with short-term solutions to implement immediately and/or recommendations for further training. A detailed training plan will be sent to you within 1 week of your consultation. Additional lessons are available after an initial consultation and behavior plan has been formed. You may purchase a single remote lesson, or a package of lessons at our trainer’s recommendation. When selecting your package, please select the option you were referred to and post the date of the next lesson in the following section. Be aware that when purchasing, you are purchasing Remote Training Lessons, though fees may be transferred to other training options. Our remote consultations can help you solve a variety of behavior issues, or show you how to teach your dog a few new tricks without ever leaving the comfort of your home. We use Zoom for remote consultations. It is a free application and easy to download. You can download it to either your phone or computer in about 5 minutes. If your computer does not have a webcam that can be moved or manipulated, opt for the application on your phone. You may need to have a plan to prop up your phone or webcam so that I can see a different area of your home, or watch you handle your dog. Zoom session are 60 minutes in length, and you will be emailed a recording of the lesson afterward along with a detailed behavior plan and video examples. If possibly, please try to provide the trainer with video examples of the behavior, but do not illicit the behavior or put any animals or people at risk. Lesson must be scheduled with 48 hours notice, and payment reserves your appointment time. Lessons expire 6 months after the purchase date. Due to our large number of students, we do not provide make-up lessons or refunds for cancelled appointments.
